Kerala, the south Indian state dubbed as God’s own country, is all set to have its first regional WordCamp on March 25 at IMA House, Kochi and we are excited to welcome you to join us and become a proud sponsor.
Kerala was selected by the New York Times as one of the must-visit places in 2023, thanks to its lush green natural beauty. With beautiful backwaters, pristine beaches, evergreen coconut trees, exotic wildlife, rejuvenating Ayurveda, heavenly spices, mouth-watering cuisine, and rich cultural traditions, it is a paradise for tourists. Kerala also has a high Human Development Index on par with the developed countries, an impressive IT literacy rate with India’s first IT park, and an excellent health care system.
Kochi is no stranger to WordCamps and the past events were all amazing with a quality crowd. WordCamp Kerala is the result of four Meetup groups from the state joining hands – Trivandrum, Kochi, Kozhikode and Palakkad. Hopefully, this mega event will dispel the lull in the community events caused by the pandemic and usher in an era with countless events and a vibrant community.
