WordCamp Kerala is excited to announce that the call for volunteers for the first regional camp is now open.

How important are volunteers?

Volunteers are what make WordCamps special. The energy that these souls bring to the tables is the true essence of making WordCamps what they are. From ensuring everything and everyone finds their place, volunteers are an integral part of every WordCamp.

What would be your responsibilities?

Once you are selected as a volunteer for WordCamp Kerala 2023, you will work alongside the organizers to make sure everything is perfect. You may have to:

• Provide full assistance to the speakers
• Be the one with answers at the help desk
• Make sure that the technical side is taken care of and monitored periodically
• Always be there to answer the queries of the participants

In short, you ensure the smooth functioning of the event and make it a success.

• Emceeing/Compering/On stage activities
• Audio-visual support
• Visual graphics and creatives
• Stall managers
• Event coordination/stage management
• Communications handler
• Sessions schedule manager
• Speaker wrangler 
• Sponsor wrangler
• Workshop and contributor support
• Registration wrangler
• Traffic wrangler
• WordPress Helpdesk to help newbies get acquainted with WordPress
• General wrangling/last-minute event help
