WordPress Data Privacy

In the wake of GDPR and other user privacy laws like CCPA, POPIA, etc., protecting your privacy online has become a heated topic. The number of people actively trying to reduce their digital footprint has increased thanks to the rising awareness and concerns about their privacy in recent years. Even still, a lot of websites are yet to comply with these laws for various reasons, and non-compliance with these laws can potentially invite heavy fines.

So it becomes vital that WordPress, which is powering about 40% of the internet, leads by example in protecting user data privacy at its core – not just for complying with the law but also for putting users first and building their trust.
